It was one of those afternoons where Cape Town was showing off its beauty again! Everyone was outside enjoying the sea and sun and we were in desperate need of some excellent sushi! Wondering up and down the Camps Bay strip we saw all the usual suspects but felt like trying somewhere new.
We walked into Umi, completely shocked by how huge the restaurant was, beautifully decorated and with a stunning view of the ocean. There were very few people there which was unfortunate as I can imagine it would’ve added a lot to the ambience. The staff were all incredibly friendly.
I can’t recall exactly what we had but everything on the menu looked amazing and we pretty much ordered whatever our eyes saw! The sushi was fantastic and we loved the presentation, 2 of my friends ordered the salmon main which they felt was too little for the big price, but other than that it was a really great experience. I am keen to go back again.
