My birthday trip to London

in Adventure
For my birthday this year I decided that I needed to get away from Cape Town and every memory associated with it… My best friend Katherine recently made the move to London Town and invited me to come and visit her – this of course was music to my ears and the perfect excuse to see her again and be distracted by all that the UK has to offer!

I have travelled to London many times before but I have to say this was by far my best experience yet! It felt familiar enough for me to know my way around, but different enough to keep me interested! I was VERY fortunate that my other best friend Clare also decided to plan her London trip around the same date so that we could all be together – super special!

I will still post in detail about some of the amazing restaurants, bars, shows and clubs that we went to but for now just wanted to give you a little overview of some of the beautiful sights in London. I didn’t do quite as much sightseeing on this trip as I had in the past, so please know that the below pictures simply represent the tip of the iceberg in terms of attractions.
