John Lennon Wall

in Adventure
One of the items on my ‘things to do’ list in Prague was a visit to the famous Lennon Wall!

My friend was there previously and showed me the most gorgeous pictures they took in front of it – so we went on a mission to find it!

Once there, there were quite a few tourists milling around so we struggled to find an open patch of wall – I would definitely recommend going early in the morning instead.

However the wait was worth it because this wall is super special! Started in 1981 as an expression of freedom and in memory of John Lennon it became a place for people to speak their minds.

As you can see from the pictures below it also makes for some excellent photographs! There was spray paint for you to make your own mark and the colours and messages were so bright & hopeful it was really something to see!

You can easily get lost for hours reading all the scribbles – a highlight of a my trip and well worth a visit should you ever be in Prague.
