I’m always keen to try new places and in Cape Town that is never hard to do! Friends recommended that I check out the Black Sheep Restaurant that opened in Kloof Street. We booked a friend’s bon voyage dinner there and rocked up not knowing quite what to expect.
My first impression was that it was way more vibey and ‘cool’ than I was expecting. Funky decor and interesting layout aside they have a huge window that frames Table Mountain like a picture when you sit down – quite breathtaking. Their menu was written in chalk against the wall and we made our selections.
I had the tuna tartar and onion rings with their green side salad – all of which was beyond delicious and just enough! My one friend had the sirloin steak which was unfortunately a bit tough and tasteless, but the rest of them really enjoyed their meals. I plan on going back again soon!
